Kerry legend Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper is to be honoured with an historic first ever testimonial dinner for a GAA player at the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin on Friday, October 27th.
Attending the black tie gala ceremony will be some of the biggest names in sport, business and entertainment.
Today FM star Matt Cooper will be master of ceremonies on the night. Part of the proceeds will go to two very special charities – Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and Kerry Cancer Support Group.
A press conference ahead of the big night will take place next Tuesday morning, September 12th at 11am in Zurich Insurance headquarters, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper was on the Kerry senior football team for over 15 years winning an incredible 5 All Irelands, 8 All Stars, 4 National Leagues and 10 Munster titles. He announced his retirement in April 2017.
